Eva Mendes (born in New York City) is an American actress and model. A talent agent noticed her talents and encouraged her to join the business of entertainment. After a lot of consideration, she dropped out of the school to join the entertainment industry. When she was disappointed with her appearance, she made her film debut in Children of the Corn V Fields of Terror. She was determined to perfect her acting skills and appeared in numerous low-budget movies in order to show her abilities. The path to becoming an actor was not easy and she performed well due to her determination and perseverance. The actress received fame and positive reviews for her performance in the film Training Day after which her acting career took off.
